The Primary Texts Certificate program has received a $2 million endowment from the private foundation of Glenn and Claire Swogger. The Swoggers had supported the program since near its inception in 2000. The endowment will honor the memory of Glenn and Claire. K-State has named Dr. Laurie Johnson, the director of the Primary Texts program, the first Glenn and Claire Swogger Chair of Primary Texts. The program, housed in the Department of Political Science, will now continue in perpetuity. We are very grateful for the generosity of the Swoggers.
