Have you been doing any writing? The Live Ideas Summer 2026 Institute is the perfect time to showcase and workshop it! The institute will be held July 8th, 9th, 14th, and 15th 6:00-7:30 pm CT via Zoom. All written pieces are welcome- fiction, nonfiction, poems, essays, etc. The purpose of these institutes is to help undergraduate students perfect their pieces alongside their scholarly and artistic peers. A $250 scholarship will be awarded to those who attend all sessions of the institute. The institute will begin on Wednesday, July 8th. The second session of the institute will resume on Thursday, July 9th, and from there, we will break for the weekend to give students ample time to work on revising their pieces. We will meet back on Tuesday, July 14th, and conclude the institute on Wednesday, July 15th. The deadline to apply for the institute is Friday, July 3rd, at 11:59pm.
